Every 1 less car High Viz jacket is made in a not-for-profit, small-scale workers’ co-operative factory that’s been going since 1897 –So you can be sure they’re NOT made by children in a sweatshop.

Our multi-coloured high viz bags and jackets are made in a not-for profit cooperative factory, controlled and run by the workers themselves, not made by children working in a sweatshop.

The factory is in the Uk so they're not shipped half-way across the world before they get to us.

And for every jacket sold we give 50p to the Waltham Forest Bike Recycle Centre. They rescue and repair old bikes, so they go back into the community.

And now we've just started a new range of 1lesscar t shirts which are made using fairly traded 100% organic cotton with a transparent supply chain.

All our printing is with water-based pvc-free inks.

Breaking Free

When you’re cycling past a traffic jam of frustrated motoristsryou don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that if more of us cycled and walked things would be a lot less stressful -and far more fun! We hope it’ll just help a few more people out of their cars to reclaim our streets, and bring them to life again, then hopefully everyone’s lives will be that little bit better.
